I had a very nice relaxing birthday. Friday which was the actual day, I worked though i left early to take a grad entrance test. Silly me, taking a major test on my birthday. Then I met with a friend who currently lives in FL, it was really fun to see her, I'm in her wedding so I got all caught up on the details of what that experience will be!
Then my room mate, friend and best friend met my parents (sorry we were so late mom and dad!) at a local brewery that I've been wanting to go to for a long time. I'll be honest it wasn't what I was expecting but I still really enjoyed it! Favorite quote of the evening "they aren't ripe yet" reason for why flowers are green! :)
then the girls took me out for a round of birthday shots (well one shot) and drinks at my new favorite place. and that was the end of friday night birthday fun!
On saturday I opened my gifts at my parents and got myself together for a little shindig at my place. Several girl friends came over and we made homemade pizza and chatted. It was really fun. When the lone boy showed up we finally played wii, I had wanted to be doing that the whole time so I'm really glad Ty came! I love playing the wii, i'm not good at it, but i really enjoy it and I have a lot of new games.
Today was a headache, finishing my personal statement for grad school and getting the weeks supply of groceries.
Tomorrow I have to return all the extra cheese and pizza sauce I bought, i um overestimated to say the least!
Here's to my 25th year - hopes to be in grad school and living in seattle in that little town house i found with it's post stamp size yard! :)
