I've decided to take a challenge, take a picture of myself and my family (me and miss) each month, jot down some notes about that month and then share it. At the end of the year I'll compile them into a book, sounds good right? Well, I'm copying Tara Whitney from the challenge she's doing with her family this year and I think that Cathy Z another blog I'm following is doing it as well. But my hope for this challenge is two fold, one, to help me process and remember the blessings of each month and two to get me taking pictures with my very cool camera my dadda got me for graduation. Oh! And the bonus will hopefully be a blog at least once a month - ha!

That's me and miss. she's discovered the heating pad and thinks it's pretty amazing, if I'm using it she pushes her way in so that she can share the warmth. That little girl brightens my life!
I turned 25 - whoa, am I an adult now? My dad keeps saying that parenting adult children is difficult... wait, that must mean I'm an adult since I'm one of his kids... when did that happen?
My birthday was wonderful, i had dinner with my parents and close friends at a brewery I've always wanted to try. other than being very late (sorry mom and dad) it was a hit! well i like "normal" pizza better and dad said the beer wasn't the best, but i still got to go somewhere I'd always wanted to. Then the girls took me out for birthday shots - overall it was a wonderful day! I also had a little gathering with some friends, and had a very good time.
I also applied for grad school this last month which was a crazy overwhelming but wonderful feeling. I took the MAT, wrote a personal statement and gathered references all in a very short time.
January was warm, not winter like at all and it flew by!
